The walls came tumbling down.

Farewell to Jericho. STUPID move CBS. That was a show that had promise and yet once again the mental midgets of CBS dumped it. For what? Yet another sorry "reality" show? Yes, it is far cheaper to get a bunch of idiots that want their 15 minutes of fame stretched way farther than their pathetic personalities or even public interest can possibly sustain or warrant. But that is one of the major reasons network TV is losing viewership. Who really cares if some dude the size of a Jovian moon loses 80 pounds? The premises keep spiraling downward into an awkward oblivion that even the most challenged intellects would find lacking. Eventually, these are going to lead to more and more dangerous stunts until someone achieves the ultimate....a death on one of these shows. That will then proceed to it becoming a commonplace occurrence. Perhaps we can rebuild the Colosseum and start throwing slaves to the lions (and not the ones from Detroit....they are TOOTHLESS you know). There is no imagination in the writing of series these days and the networks don't want to pay for it. They want to shovel crap at you while charging prime dollars to advertisers and expect you to sit there and keep tuning in. Time to turn off the TV and go crawl up with a good book.

The walls came tumbling down.

I agree Wiz...I saw every episode of Jericho and thought it was quality television...it seems now a days that TV shows don't get much of an opportunity to gain momentum.  It's either feast or famine!  Who's to say that in two years Jericho would have really taken off.  If you don't come out with big numbers early, you are doomed...the problem with today's rating system is that its outdated...they have no way to account for Tivo or DVR....I know many people who recorded Jericho, and watched it later...thus hurting the ratings.  I also believe that Jericho had a strong online viewership...Oh well, its unfortunate...another death of a fine TV show due to the mindless instant gratification of reality TV....WTF!
